I provide quality childcare in a loving home for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age. I offer a
"DaycareCenter" setup without the costly center prices, plus your child will
receive the personal care and attention they deserve that may not always be possible in large centers.
I believe the work of children
is play and they learn best in an active play environment where concepts can be introduced as they relate naturally to what
is going on around them. Child care should be a partnership between parent and provider working together to promote the development
of the whole child. A mutual respect and good communication are vital to this relationship.
Children need to be surrounded by opportunities for learning. The first five
years are critical for brain development and children need the love and consistency of a secure attachment to their caretaker
to thrive. By providing the materials and opportunities to them on a daily
basis, I strive to instill a love of learning and a joy in the world around them. I
do have structured activities and circle time, but I also give them plenty of time to create and explore individually
and as a group and on thier own.

With over 20 years experience in family child care, I offer a program tailored to
the individual needs of the children in my care. As part of your child's daytime family, I strive to offer the same kind of
program I provided for my own children. Together, we explore, learn, play and grow.
Play is an important part of a child's development. It is how young children understand the world around them.
Some of the activities the children engage in are art, sensory play and music. We have story time and outdoor play.
Each child is given the opportunity to express him/herself in independent and group play, but I also make sure to spend one
on one time with each child throughout the day.
At
Sachse Child Care the children have the chance to develop important first friendships. A family group daycare provides
them with opportunities to form close relationships with other children. Establishing a consistent, nurturing relationship
with a primary caregiver is also important to the development of young children. These are some of the many advantages
of choosing family childcare for your child.
I participate in the USDA Food Program. You can be assured that your child's nutritional needs will
be met per the regulations of the Program.
